摘要
Among the materials now available of the West Zhou language, there are five first person pronouns such Yu , Zhen (朕), Wo (我), Ang () and Wu (吾). This essay gives an account for the pronunciation and etymology of the first person pronouns above mentioned, and discusses the corresponding relation of pronunciation between the first person pronouns and second person pronouns of the Ancient Chinese in the West Zhou Time.
