Transformation of anti-waxy gene mediated by Agrobacterium in indica rice

摘要 Rice edible quality is related to the amylose content of endosperm. High amylose content would impair the palatability. Rice waxy gene is responsible for the synthesis of amylose in endosperm. This study was to transfer waxy gene into Longtefu (Oryza saliva ssp. indica) mediated by Agrobacterium.
