Objective To investigate the functional connections of the anterior and posterior default network and to explore the potential neurophysiological mechanism of cognitive impairment in patients with OSA.Methods Collected the resting-state magnetic resonance functional imaging(rs-fMRI)data of 43 OSA patients and 43 healthy control(HC).We used seed-based method, selected the seeds in the Medial prefrontal lobe(mPFC)and posterior cingulate gyrus(PCC)respectivly,to calculate the functional connection with the whole-brain.And we compared the functional connectivity differences between groups by using two sample t-test.Results Compared to the HCs,in patient with OSA,the functional connections with mPFC were decreased dramatically in the left posterior cerebellar lobe while they increased significantly in the left inferior parietal lobule, bilateral middle frontal gyrus and left inferior frontal gyrus. For the PCC seed, bilateral postcentral gyrus and right precentral gyrus showed significant decrease, and only the right posterior cerebellum showed significant increase in patient with OSA.Conclusion The anterior and posterior default network in the patient with OSA shows great differences, and it may provide a new perspective for further investigate the reduction of cognitive function in patients of OSA.
