摘要
采用图像镶嵌技术实现三维重建的原理。提出了用于球面纹理映射的矩阵和公式。阐述了系统实现的编程方法。采用新颖的贴图算法 ,实现了一个基于球面纹理映射的汽车车身虚拟原型系统 ,使设计者能依据用户的反馈及时修改设计 ,提高了设计效率。
Bodywork design is an essential element of automobile design, which has to conform to the safety, comfort, and the individual requirements. The technology of virtual prototyping (VP) is finding increasing applications in the field of bodywork design. This research applies image-based 3D reconstruction technologies to create an easy to use and vision-rich virtual prototyping system of the bodywork. First, the principles for image-based 3D spherical reconstruction with image mosaics technologies are illustrated based on the analysis of the process of image formation. Second, the matrixes and equations employed to implement spherical texture mapping are proposed. Third, the programming method to realize image-based 3D spherical reconstruction is represented. The final product is a virtual prototyping system with novel mapping algorithms for automobile design. This system enables designers to modify the design according to the user real time feedback. It could improve the design efficiency greatly.
