Carbohydrate antigen-125(CA-125) is traditionally considered as a tumor marker,which is commonly found in the serum of patients with epithelial ovarian tumors(serous tumors).Recent studies have shown that CA-125 is closely related to atrial fibrillation(AF).This article will elaborate the latest research progress on the relationship between CA-125 level and the risk of atrial fibrillation,which aims to provide a basis for clinical diagnosis,treatment and prediction of atrial fibrillation.
