Solid tumors masquerading as acute leukemia:Three cases report and literature review

急性白血病常以贫血、感染、出血、骨痛、淋巴结及肝脾肿大、中枢神经系统浸润等表现起病,病情进展迅速。而实体肿瘤多以脏器受累为主,不同部位实体瘤由于组织来源以及肿瘤自身的生物学特点而表现各异。众所周知实体肿瘤可出现骨髓转移,而以广泛的血液系统受累为主要首发表现且不伴其原发灶的特征性临床表现者较为少见。一些实体肿瘤的首发症状和急性白血病样的临床表现极其相似,骨髓细胞形态学特点与白血病细胞难.

We reported three cases of solid tumors masquerading as acute leukemia and conducted a literature review.Solid tumors showing clinical picture of acute leukemia with extensive marrow involvement as the sole or prominent initial clinical manifestation are extremely rare.Peripheral blood examination has no clear distinction.Sometimes the morphologic examination disagree with flow cytometry.The differential diagnosis requires knowledge of clinical information combined with pathological evaluation,immunophenotype,and karyotype to avoid misdiagnosis and delayed therapy.Those patients usually had a poor prognosis.
