摘要
语言不仅仅客观地表达命题思想,还表达说话人的观点、感情和态度。在评价理论中,语言是"手段",应透过对语言的分析,评价语言使用者对事态的立场、观点和态度。本文从评价理论中态度子系统出发,分析英语新闻语篇的主观性。
Language does not only express the propositional meaning of sentence,but also indicate the opinion,affection and attitudes of the speaker,which is regarded as subjectivity in linguistics.In Appraisal Theory,language is a means the speaker adopts to show his/her standpoints and attitudes.This paper tries to analyze the subjectivity of English news report from the attitude system under Appraisal Theory.
