河西地区直到汉代才得以开发,依托于两汉中央政府的直接管理,从武帝时代起开始进驻设置郡县,同时移民边疆组织屯田,并兴修水利和推广农业,这些使得河西地区在两汉时期后来居上,有了长足的发展和进步。

Until Han dynasties Hexi area was able to be developed,and it relied on the central government’s direct management.Beginning in Han-Wu-Di,the government started to get here and installed shire-country-sentry post,removed people to the frontier,initiated army men settlement,constructed water conservancy projects,and extended the use of new tools and new technology.Hexi area,because of these reasons,which was the latecomer surpass the old-timers,had made a great development and progress.
