Inspiration of student affairs management in American higher education institutions to our domestic counselor specialization

美国高校学生事务管理与我国的学生工作是一个相对应的概念。随着我国高等教育进入大众化发展阶段,迫切需要建设一支高素质、专业化的辅导员队伍。作为世界上高等教育最为发达的国家,美国高校学生事务管理的发展历史、人员构成及管理理念等必然对我国辅导员队伍专业化建设有所启示。

The concept of student affairs in American higher education is equivalent to student-related work in China.With the coming of the mass education period of China’s higher education,the specialization of domestic counselors has become an issue of increasing academic concern.This paper intends to draw some inspirations from American higher education by illustrating the history,personnel structure and management idea of its student affairs.
