大学英语《英美文学》公共选修课课程刍议

On the public elective course "English and American Literature" in college English

目前大学英语教学改革的重点是从基础英语教学转向特殊用途英语和通识类英语教学,各校建立个性化的大学英语教学体系,提高学生的英语综合能力和文化素质。本文通过研究《大学英语教学要求》和《高等学校英语专业英语教学大纲》两个纲领性文件,从教学目标、教学内容、教学方法等三方面分析比较《英美文学》专业课程和《英美文学》公共选修课的差异,旨在抛砖引玉,为英美文学公选课的定位发展出谋划策,为大学英语教学改革尽绵薄之力。

The focus of college English teaching reform is the shift from basic English teaching to specific purposes English and general education English teaching,every school set up personalized college English teaching system,improves the comprehensive ability of English and cultural qualities.This paper through studying 'College English Teaching Requirements' and 'syllabus for English Majors' two programmatic documents,from the teaching objectives,teaching content,teaching methods to analyze and compare the differences between 'English and American literature' professional course and ' English and American Literature' public elective course,to serve as a catalyst for the English and American literature,makes plans for the position development of public elective course,to make humble effort for the college English teaching reform.
