摘要
语言教材的编写应以相关的语言学理论为基础,但在中国中学英语教材的编写实践中总是有所缺憾。以《新目标》教材为例,其中情态助动词呈现方式的不同导致了学习者的效果难以尽人意。因此,结合相关的情态助动词理论,本文重新构建了一套新的情态助动词体系,希望能给当前中学英语教材的编写者及有关的专家学者以新的启示。
The compiling of high school English textbooks is closely associated with the linguistic theories.Unfortunately,owing to lack of communication among the English teachers,the compliers and linguists,it is difficult for the readers to find out the the linguistic framework of high school English textbooks,which inevitably leads to the students’ poor achievements.Consequently,taking Go for it as an example,the author investigates not only its presentation of modal auxiliaries but also its influences on the students with the purpose of constructing a new modal auxiliary system.By presenting this study,the author hopes to provide new enlightenment and guidance for the linguists,textbook compliers and teachers.
