浅谈林纾译作对当时社会文化语境的影响

A brief analysis of the influence of Lin Shu’s translated works on China’s Social-cultural context

林纾的翻译一方面受制于当时的社会文化语境,但同时其译作也对当时的社会文化语境产生了一定影响,尤其在对意识形态的冲击和文学环境的革新上。在评价衡量林译作品的价值时,我们必须承认林译小说恰如一扇打开的窗牖,帮助国人逐渐洞悉西方的价值观念和文化,堪称功莫大焉。

On one hand,Lin Shu’s translation work is constrained by China’s social-cultural context.On the other hand,his translated works influence the social-cultural context,especially on the reform of traditional ideology and the renewal of literary environment.When evaluate Lin’s translated works,we must admit that his works are successful enough to help us get to know western social values and culture as an open window.
