英语高考改革的负面影响不容小觑

Negative effect of the english college entrance examination reform should not be underestimated

对已经出台的英语学科改革,其可能出现的负面影响应该予以重视。英语在高考分数的比重中将有所下降。我国前期对英语教育的投入非常大,如果处理不好可能导致前期投入的浪费,从而降低我国的英语水平,进而影响我国的国际竞争力,也会使汉语传播受影响。

Attention should be payed to the negative influence about discipline and reform of English that has already been enacted.The proportion of English in the total scores is generally to be decreased. Reform is necessary,but the negative influ-ences brought by the reform should not be underestimated. We have invested a lot in English education;however,the invest-ment will yield no fruits if we do not make a proper reform. Further more it can have negative effect on our English level and weaken our international competitiveness. Finally,our poor English will slow down the spread of Chinese.
