摘要
"云"是与人类生活密切相关的自然现象。在英汉语中"云"的概念隐喻在构建抽象概念的过程中起着十分重要的作用。从认知语言学角度,分析英汉语中关于自然现象"云"的概念隐喻。研究表明,英汉语中的"云"概念隐喻存在一致性,但由于传统文化的不同,也存在较大的差异性。
Cloud is a natual phenomenon closely related with human life.Conceptual metaphor of cloud plays an important role in the process of constructing the abstract concept between English and Chinese.The result shows that most of the map-pings are shared by English and Chinese,while a few of them are unique,reflecting the similarities and differences between Chi-nese and English conceptual metaphors.
