《包法利夫人》是福楼拜最具争议性的作品之一,爱玛也是一个富有争议的女性形象,对于爱玛来说,追求浪漫的爱情是她的生命必然的使命。她为爱而生,也因爱而死,她因为爱成为世人眼中不正经的女人。爱玛对于爱情的执着让她沉迷于欲望中,沦为欲望的奴隶,最终导致了她的毁灭。

Madame Bovaryis one of the controversial works which wrote by Gustave Flaubert.And Emma is also a rich controversial image of women.For Emma,the pursuit of romantic love is the inevitable mission of her life.She was born for love and die of love.Due to her love,she become a bimbo in the eyes of the world.Emma's persistent of love made her addicted to desire and became a slave eventually lead to the destruction of her.
