摩西作为《圣经·旧约》中的核心人物之一,是以色列历史中的伟大先知和精神领袖,根据言语适应理论,说话人主要通过使用言语趋同和言语趋异策略调整与受话人的关系。在《旧约》中,摩西面对不同的受话对象时能适时调整话语策略,从而不仅达到说服受话者的目的,也塑造了自己不朽的光辉形象,既有仆人式的谦卑,也有英雄般的勇敢,更具父亲式的权威。

As one of the central figures in the Old Testament,Moses is a great prophet and spiritual leader in the history of Israel.Speech style has,undoubtedly,become an essential element we need to consider while analyzing his images.Based on Speech Accommodation Theory,the speaker can adjust his or her relationship with the audience through using such communicative strategies as convergence,divergence and language maintenance.In the Old Testament,Moses adjusts his speech strategies contingently when facing such different audiences through which he can not only persuade the target audience successfully,but also establish his immortal glorious image with servant-like humility,heroic valiance and fatherly authority.
