According to the results of the investigation,the implementation of the teaching reform and practical exploration of Comprehensive English Course has obviously stimulated the students' interest and enthusiasm of English learning;the students have greater and clearer learning objectives;their self-confidence,skills of English listening,speaking,reading,writing and translation have been cultivated and improved in different degrees respectively;their team spirit,autonomous learning ability and intercultural communicative competence have also been improved,which has laid a solid foundation to the further learning of the subsequent series of courses and professional courses.
