试论英诗汉译中的形合与意合——以《咏水仙》为例

A study on Hypotaxis and Parataxis in E-C poetry translation——Based on I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud

英语重形合,汉语重意合,是公认的英汉语特征,也是检验英汉互译的标准。英汉翻译中,诗歌翻译是一个难点。梳理前人研究,以《咏水仙》为例,分析其省略、替代、重复、骈偶和散行等语言组织方式,讨论英诗汉译中的形合与意合的关系。

Hypotaxis and parataxis are one of the characteristics of English and Chinese:English is more hypotatic while Chinese more paratactic.This paper based on the previous study,using four Chinese translation versions of I Wandered Lonely as a Cloudas examples to analyze ellipsis,substitution,repetition,parallelism and prose,and also discussing the phenomenon of hyporaxis and parataxis in its Chinese versions.
