摘要
分析了偏振摸色散波动的机理,探讨了光纤铺设、天气条件对PMD波动的影响:一般海底光缆和地下光缆因受环境影响比较小,所以PMD波动较小,易于补偿;架空光缆因受环境影响比较大,尤其受气温变化的影响较大,所以PMD波动也较大,对其补偿要困难一些。在设计的偏振模色散补偿系统时,应该考虑具有足够的自动调节的补偿量,其调节速度也应该达到PMD的波动速度。
In this paper, the mechanism of the fluctuation of PMD (Polarization Mode Dispersion) is analyzed, and the effects of lay methods of fiber and weather on the fluctuation of PMD are discussed. Generally, because the effects of environment on submarine fiber cable and the terrestrial fiber cable are smaller, its PMD has smaller fluctuation and is easy to compensate. But due to the effect of environment on the aerial fiber cable is greater, the fluctuation of PMD is greater. In the design of compensation system of PMD, sufficient compensation quantum and velocity are needed.
