缪荃孙与两部《顺天府志》

Miao Quansun and His Two Works Shuntian Chi

光绪年间,清末方志学家缪荃孙先后辑佚了两部具有非凡意义的《顺天府志》:一部是1886至1888年缪氏从《永乐大典》中辑佚的《(永乐)顺天府志》钞本;另一部是1879至1885年缪氏总纂的《(光绪)顺天府志》刻本。几乎是在同一时期,缪荃孙完成了两部具有里程碑意义的方志巨著,为后世学人编写方志提供了丰富的素材和范例,居功至伟。

In Guangxu years, gazetteer scholars in the late Qing Dynasty Miao Quansun had 2 significant works Shuntian Chi:one was Miao Quansun’ s compilation notes ( Yongle) Shuntian Chi edited from Yongle Encyclopedia from 1886 to 1888;the other was the carving copy (Guangxu) Shuntian Chi from 1879 to 1885.Almost at the same time, Miao completed 2 great works which had milepost sense, this provided rich material and examples for the later scholars who wrote records.
