史良的一生充满传奇色彩。五四运动时期,她是积极组织学生运动的学生会领导;20世纪30年代,她是大上海有名的律师,曾成功解救过一些中共地下党员;她是民国史上著名的"七君子"之一;抗日战争时期担任国民参政员,之后加入民盟;解放战争时期领导民盟的华东执行部,之后还参加了新政协;新中国成立后,出任第一任国家司法部部长和政务院政法委员会委员。她一生为民主、自由、女权而战,是同中国共产党并肩作战的亲密战友。

Shi Liang lived a legendary life .During the May 4th Movement ,she was an active student leader and organized many student movement;in the 1930s,she become a famous lawyer in shanghai ,and successfully rescued some of the underground communists of CCP;she was one of the famous “seven gentlemen” in the modern China;during the Anti-Japanese War ,she served as a national assemblymen ,and she joined the China Democratic League lat-er;during the Liberation War ,she was the leader of the East China Ministry of China Democratic League ,then she at-tended the New Political Consultative Conference;after the founding of new China ,she served as the first Minister of Justice of the People's Republic of China from 1949 to 1959.She devoted herself fighting for freedom ,democracy and women’s rights,and she is also a close comrade-in-arms who fight together with the communist party of China .
