略述红二十六军的创建历程

A Brief Study on the Foundation of No. 26 Red Army

红二十六军是陕西省委在正确执行了党的方针政策的情况下,由最初活动在陕甘地区的南梁游击队与晋西游击队合编而成,并经由西北反帝同盟军到中国工农红军陕甘游击队,再到中国工农红军第二十六军的艰难创建历程。红二十六军成立后,在逐步壮大过程中发展成长为中国革命的一支劲旅,为陕甘边革命根据地的创建与巩固,以及党中央长征胜利落脚陕北和陕甘宁边区的开辟,做出了巨大的贡献。

Under the guidance of the party policies, the Provincial Party Committee of Shaanxi made a prototype of No.26 Red Army by combining Nanliang Guerrilla Force that was in Shaanxi-Gansu border region with the West-ern Shanxi Guerrilla Force.Then the army was named successively the Northwest Anti-imperialist Allies and the Shaanxi-Gansu Guerrilla Force of the Chinese Workers and Peasants Red Army.Finally the army got its name as No.26 Chinese Workers and Peasants Red Army.After its foundation, it gradually became a strong troop for the Chinese revolution and contributed greatly to the foundation and consolidation of the Shaanxi-Gansu Border Revolu-tionary Base, the successful settlement of the CPC Central Committee in northern Shanxi the Long March, and the establishment of Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Revolutionary Base.
