析《说文》“希”族字

A Research on the Character Family of “Xi”in the Origin of Chinese Characters

汉字字族是指汉字在孳乳分化过程中形成的记录同族词而且必须具有共同文字发生源的一系列形、音、义有密切关系的汉字。以字族研究汉字是一个新的方向,《说文解字》中从"希"得声的字共有11个,以"希"为母文、"织的稀疏的布帛"为义核出发,对11个"希"族字一一进行分析,将具有共同语源、词义相同、字音相同相近的字归为同族字。

The Chinese character family refers to the recording cognate characters which are formed by multi-plies and have closely relationship between font, pronunciation and meaning.It’ s a new way to analysis the Chi-nese characters through character family.There are eleven characters sounded from “Xi” in the Origin of Chinese Characters.Taking Xi as the vowel and “the thin cotton” as the basic meaning, this article analysis the character family members of Xi one by one, and classifies the ones who have the common etymology, the same meaning and the same or similar pronunciation as cognate words.
