摘要
通过对外语教师教学信念的定义、功能以及我国外语教师教学信念现状的分析和梳理,发现我国外语教师教学信念的研究起步相对较晚,研究方法多局限于文献法,仅有少量的实证研究是运用问卷调查法对宏观教学信念进行研究,研究对象也主要集中于大学英语教师,缺乏对基础教育阶段英语教师,特别是小学英语教师教学信念的研究。从研究内容、研究方法和研究对象指明了该课题今后的研究方向,以期外语教师教学信念的研究更加系统化、规模化、专业化。
Teachers' belief about how English is learned will pervade their classroom practice more than a particular methodology they are told to adopt or course book they follow. However,the study of teachers' belief started lately and the research methods mainly limited in literature methodology. The subjects of the study mainly focus on college teachers. The study to elementary education can be rarely found. The limited empirical research mainly used questionnaire to survey the mainstream teacher's common teaching belief.It is very hard to find the case study of teacher's belief about English lessons in primary school. Therefore,further study should focus on certain teaching steps,like questions forming,classroom interaction,classroom feedback in the lesson of elementary school. Participants should be increased,and quantify and quality research methods should be combined. Teacher's recognition research should pay attention to the fact of the anachronistic study. Professional statistic software should be applied in quantity study,and multiple-level discourse analysis should be applied in quantity study so as to make the domestic research about English teacher's belief more systematic,large-scale and professional.
