高校转型发展对英语专业的教学产生了深远影响。如何使《英美文学》的教学与实践适应新形势的需要成了新课题。文学作品蕴涵着作家对本国文化的反思与再认识。高校转型发展背景下的《英美文学》教师应加大"间性"等现代哲学理论的学习与应用,关注当前文学走向,运用比较文学的方法进行教学实践,培养学生们从文本中获取信息并分析,运用比较、联想、抽象和总体想象等思想方法,展开宏观思考,拓展积极思维的能力,从而树立起正确的人生观、思想观和社会观,使课程的教学能适应转型发展的需求。

College‘s transformation has great influence on English major's course teaching. How to make the teaching and practice of British and American Literature adapt to new situation's requirements has become a new research topic. Literature works contain writer's reflection on and re-recognition of his native culture. Teachers in universities under the background of college transformation should increase the learning and application of modern philosophical theories like 'intersubjectivity',pay attention to the rend of current literature,using method of comparative literature teaching practice,training students to obtain and analyze the information from the text,using the thinking methods like comparison,association,abstract and general imagination,to carry on macroeconomic thinking,and to expand the ability of actively thinking,so as to establish a correct outlook on life,ideas,and social values,to make course teaching meet the needs of transformation development.
