Predicament and Choice: A New Conception on the Transformation of Local Colleges to Entrepreneurial Paradigm

当前,在国家大力倡导地方本科院校转型的背景下,地方本科高校开始思考自身转型路径,很多高校积极向应用型大学转型。然而,应用型大学的种类很多,如何进行转型定位困扰着很地方本科高校。与此同时,地方本科高校正面临着很多困境,必须思考变革之路。以强调大学应用性价值导向和社会服务功能为主要定位的创业型大学是一种新型的大学范式。一些地方本科高校应根据自身情况和特点,以创业的精神思考和选择向新的大学范式转型,在理论和现实上有其必要性和可行性。

Local colleges are thinking and pushing forward their transformation under the background of China‘s advocating local universities' transform to applied-oriented ones. However,since there are a number of appliedoriented universities,how to plan and precisely position this transformation keeps puzzling some local colleges. In the meanwhile,the local colleges are undergoing a series of problems and they must think reforming themselves. Entrepreneurial university,characterized with strong entrepreneurship,application position and directly serving the society,is a new paradigm of higher education that can be adopted by some applied-oriented universities according to their own conditions. The transformation has its necessity and availability both in theory and reality.
