寇赞家族在北朝时期延续7代、迁徙2次,能够代表北朝时期北方地方豪族、侨居世族的发展状况。其家族能够持续发展的原因,一是子弟延续,家风传习;二是联姻世族,维持地方家族势力,攀附权贵,冀图获取更好发展。

In the Northern Dynasties period Kou Zan clan lasted for seven generation and migrated two times. The clan can represent the development of northern local Haozu and immigrant aristocracy in the Northern Dynasties.There are two reasons why Kou Zan clan got sustainable development,the first reason is the clan had children continuation and clan tradition teaching;the second reason is Kou Zan clan maintained local clan forces by marriage with aristocracy and planed to obtain better development by tufthunting.
