摘要
简要回顾数据库系统的发展历史,对目前的若干面向对象的数据库系统的地位问题而展开的争论作了介绍及评述,并提出了自已的观点,认为面向对象的数据库系统由于其本身技术的特点更容易与其它技术融合因而更具发展前景;另外还对今后数据库系统技术的诸多发展方向作了展望。
This paper discusses the history of database systems briefly, introduces and assesses the current discussions of the role and developments of the object oriented DBS, then proposes its own point of view which believes. the object oriented DBS has much more speculations because it is easier to incorporate than other technology into object oriented DBS . In addition, the author speculates the possible developments of the technology of DBS.
