Hu Ming-fu and the Science Society of China

作为中国科学社的重要创始人之一,胡明复长期担任董事、理事、会计以及《科学》月刊编辑,为其创立和发展做出了突出贡献。他在提倡科学方法、科学精神,肯定科学社会功能等方面,亦不乏精当之见解。

As one of the pioneers of the Science Society of China, Hu Ming-fu pkyed an outstanding part in its founding and development ,ever acting as its director, accountant and the editor of Science journal. He also had ideas of his own on advocating scientific method and spirit and the social function of science.
