对同源词认识上的误区

Wrong Views on Words of the Same Origins

长期以来,有些学者对同源词存在着不够正确的认识,例如:如果一个词的两个以上的引申义距离本义较远,就应该看成同源词;如果人们为一个词的本义和引申义造出了区别字,就标志着这个词分化为几个同源词;如果一个词的引申义分化为新词,就与代表本义的词成了同源词,等等。这些认识都不符合"同源"的宗旨,因而必须纠正。

Many scholars have held wrong views on words of the same origins for a long time.For instance, a word with over two implied meanings far from the root meaning should be considered as a word of the same origin. If the root meaning and implied meaning of a word can make different words, it is indicated that this word can be classified into several words of the same origins. If the implied meaning of a word is classified into a new word, it will become a word of the same origin with the rootmeaning word, etc.These views do not accord with the original sense of 'the same origin' so they must be corrected.
