New Requirements of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for Higher Educationin the New Era

改革开放以来,我国高等教育大众化、国际化水平不断提高,从而为国家的发展和进步提供了人力支撑和智力保障。随着我国进入新时代,高等教育面临着新的历史任务和新的历史使命。因此,要以习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想作为高等教育工作的指导思想,以解决我国社会的主要矛盾作为核心任务,以改革作为高等教育发展的动力,采取切实有效的措施为实现社会主义现代化强国培养德才兼备、又红又专、全面发展的人才。

Since the reform and opening up,the level of popularization and internationalization of higher education in China has been continuously improved,thus providing human resources support and intellectual security for the development and progress of the country.As China enters a new era,higher education is facing new historical tasks and missions.Therefore,it is necessary to take Xi Jinping’s Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as the guiding ideology of higher education work,take the disposal of the principal contradiction in our society as the core task,take the reform as the driving force for the development of higher education,and adopt practical and effective measures to cultivate well-rounded talents with moral character,talent,patriotism and specialization for the realization of a strong socialist modernization country.
