中国城市老年人收入的性别差异研究

A Gender Comparison Study on Urban Elderly's Income

老年人收入的性别差异问题是一个容易被忽视但又值得关注的问题。采用"2010年中国城乡老年人口状况追踪调查"数据,对城市老年人收入的性别差异进行分析,发现女性老年人在收入方面处于明显的劣势地位。运用生命历程理论和社会性别理论,分别从纵向和横向角度分析城市老年人收入的性别差异形成的深层次原因。依据分析结果,从综合性和具体性两个层面提出可行性建议,以期缩小收入的性别差异,促进社会公平与和谐。

The elderly’s income difference on gender is a problem that tends to be overlooked, while it does deserve some attentions. This paper analyses the income difference between the old female and male based on the survey from the“The Follow-up Survey on the Status of the Elderly in Urban/Rural China 2010”. The result shows that the income of the female elderly is inferior to that of the male signiifcantly. The deep-seated reason is analyzed from both the longitudinal and vertical angle, using the life course theory and the social gender theory. Basing on the results, some reasonable suggestions can be put forward from the comprehensive and speciifc aspect to reduce the gender income difference and promote the social justice and harmony.
