The Exchangeable Intergenerational Relations: A New Perspective to Understand the Rural Elderly Crisis—— Based on the Investigation of the Ederly's Living Conditions in Jianghan Plain

老年人危机是当前农村普遍存在的一个问题。通过建构交换型代际关系这一分析框架,来理解和分析江汉平原农村的老年人危机。交换型代际关系是时代变迁的产物,村庄弱社会关联以及村庄激烈的向外竞争,是交换型代际关系产生的社会基础。由这一新型代际关系所衍生出来的赡养原则的变化以及代际权力重心的下移,是当地农村老年人危机的深刻根源。

"The elderly crisis" is a common problem in the rural areas nowadays. This article understands and analyzes the elderly's crisis through constructing a framework which is called "the exchangeable intergenerational relations". According to the paper, "the exchangeable intergenerational relations" is the product of the changing times. The weak social competition of the village and the iferce competition to the outward is the social basis of "the exchangeable intergenerational relations". The changing of the supporting principle and the moving down of the intergenerational relations' power, which is derived from the new intergenerational relations, is the root of the elderly crisis in this area.
