关联理论下文化负载词的翻译——以莫言《蛙》葛浩文译本为例

文化负载词是指标志某种文化中特有事物的词、词组和习语。译者在翻译过程中要特别留意才不会造成漏译错译,而要把其中的文化信息准确传递更是难上加难。葛浩文对莫言小说《蛙》中的文化负载词,分五类进行翻译,体现了关联理论在翻译领域的应用,可以准确翻译文化负载词。

Culture-loaded words refer to the words,phrases and idioms that are used to sign some objects peculiar to certain cultures. The translator needs to pay special attention to avoid errors and omission in the process of translation,especially when translating the cultural information. Goldblatt could accurately translate the five types of culture-loaded words in Mo Yan’s Frog,which reflected the application of relevance theory in the translation field.
