Adhering to the People's Stand of Developing Education

习近平总书记在全国教育大会上系统总结了我国教育改革发展的基本经验,提出了"九个坚持"的教育新论断,深化了对我国教育事业改革发展规律的认识,为加快推进教育现代化、建设教育强国、办好人民满意的教育提供了根本遵循。坚持以人民为中心发展教育,首要的是坚持教育的人民立场。教育的人民立场,是党发展教育事业的初心,是为人民办公平而有质量的教育,是为每个人人生出彩、促进社会公平正义创造条件。落实教育的人民立场,要坚持人民满意与尊重规律相统一、尽力而为与量力而行相统一、为了人民与依靠人民相统一、厚植优势与补齐短板相统一的方法论原则。

General Secretary Xi Jinping has systematically summed up the basic experiences of China’s education reform and development at the National Education Conference,proposed the 'nine adheres',deepened the understanding of the law of reform and development of China’s education,providing requirements for accelerating the modernization of education,building a strong country in education,and running a satisfactory education for the people. Adhering to the people-centered development of education,the first priority is to uphold the people’s stand of education. The people’s stand of education is the initial heart of the party’s development of education,and it is a fair and quality education for the people. It is to create conditions for everyone’s life and promote social fairness and justice. To implement the people’s stand of education,we must adhere to the principle of the people’s satisfaction and respect for the law,do their best and do what they can,strive for the people and rely on the people,build the advantages and fill the shortcomings.
