循环肿瘤细胞检测对评估头颈部肿瘤疗效及预后的研究进展

Circulating tumor cells detection for evaluating the efficacyand prognosis of head and neck tumors research progress

头颈部肿瘤患者早期症状不典型且容易局部复发及远处转移,导致其五年生存率不足60%。常规影像学无法及时明确诊断、监测疾病治疗效果及判断预后,因此急需一种操作简便、无创并可实施动态监测的诊断技术。循环肿瘤细胞(Circulating tumor cells,CTCs)通过简单抽取外周血即可获得肿瘤相关信息的液体活检方法,目前广泛用于转移性乳腺癌、前列腺癌、结直肠癌的疗效监测及评估预后,在头颈部肿瘤中的研究亦炙手可热但研究结果不一致。本文就在头颈部肿瘤领域应用CTCs检测这种工具的具体方法、可行性、临床价值以及问题展望等方面做一个较为全面的综述。

Patients with head and neck cancer have atypical symptoms and are prone to local recurrence and distant metastasis,resulting in a five-year survival rate of less than 60%.Conventional imaging cannot accurately diagnose,monitor,and determine the prognosis of a disease.Therefore,a diagnostic technique that is simple,non-invasive,and capable of performing dynamic monitoring is needed.Circulating tumor cells(CTCs)are liquid biopsy methods that can obtain tumor-related information by simply extracting peripheral blood.Currently,they are widely used for monitoring the efficacy of metastatic breast cancer,prostate cancer,colorectal cancer,and evaluating prognosis.Studies in neck tumors are also hot but the results are inconsistent.This article provides a comprehensive overview of the specific methods,feasibility,clinical value,and problem prospects of using CTCs to detect such tools in the field of head and neck cancer.
