《黄帝内经》思想博大精深,源远流长,于治疾时机处,分"及时而治"与"待时而治"。"待时而治"为应对疾病之特殊病理状态而设,或先于病症发生前而干预(治其未发),或于正邪剧烈交争时而静守(不可动之),或于邪气亢奋期罢后再予根本性治疗(刺其已衰)。其运用皆讲究对疾病的正确认识及对时机的精准判断,张仲景、叶天士及现代外科,对其思想各有发挥。

The theory of Huangdi Neijing is very extensive and profound and has a long history.It can be divided into two parts according to the opportunities of treating diseases,such as treating at once and treating of waiting for the appropriate opportunities.The appropriate opportunities of treating diseases aim to the the special pathological conditions or interpose before the symptoms appearance or do not any treatment at the moment of struggling between normal and pathogenical Qi intensively or take the fundamental treatment after the pathogenic Qi has become weak.The key points of the applications for the appropriate opportunities focus on the right understanding about the diseases and precise judgments about the opportunities.ZHANG Zhongjing,YE Tianshi and modern surgeons developed the theory respectively.
