摘要 建构主义是西方教育心理学的最新教学理论,认为学习是学习者主动建构意义的过程,强调学习的主动性、社会性和情境性.本文阐发了建构主义全新的学习理论、教学理论,并结合其基本理论阐述了与英语教学改革的契合和对英语教学的启示.可以看出,建构主义教学观对当前我国英语教学改革和英语创新型人才的培养有着深刻的启示. Constructivism is the latest teaching and learning theory in Western countries,and it is based on the premise that cognition (learning) is the result of 'mental construction'. It lays emphasis on the social-cultural aspect of learning. Initially we give a brief account of its learning and teaching theory, and then we discuss its pedagogical implications for English language teaching in combination with its basic principle. It is obvious that constructivist-teaching theory has great implications for China's English language teaching reform and the cultivation of creative English personnel.
