方成培《雷峰塔》与黄图珌、田汉同题材作品的比较研究

从案头的话本小说到氍毹的歌舞传奇,白蛇故事总是占据着重要一隅。清代方成培的传奇《雷峰塔》,吸收了黄图珌本与梨园旧抄本二者之长,不仅在剧作艺术手法上更为成熟,且对宗教意蕴的把握亦恰到好处。方本《雷峰塔》不应被简单地视为一出悲剧,它双层的意蕴建构更应被看作是一出悲喜剧。方本在大量戏曲改编之作中尤显珍贵,它超越以田汉为代表的现当代同题材作品,优于自清代以来各版本的《白蛇传》,堪称这一戏剧题材的经典之作。

From fiction to stage,white snake stories have always been an important subject.Fang Chengpei’s legend Leifeng Pagoda written in the Qing dynasty,having taken the advantages of the Huang Tubi’s edition and the ancient operatic one,is skilled in dramatic artistic techniques and is to the point in religious implications.Fang’s Leifeng Pagoda should not simply be regarded as a tragedy.Its construction of two-way implications gives it attribute as a tragicomedy.Fang’s work is distinguished among the adapted dramas of the same subject.It surpasses the works of contemporary dramatists like Tian Han among others.It is better than The Tale of White Snake of various editions since the Qing dynasty.It may well be a classic of this drama subject.
