As a kind of new link layer protocol,it is very important to research and develop the application of PPPoE in the broadband access system.The paper analyzes the principle of PPPoE,including the protocol architecture,operation mechanism and technological characteristics.Moreover,going along with the characteristics of different broadband access technology,it draws out an application scheme of PPPoE in the broadband access system.
