在分析对艰苦奋斗精神种种误解的基础上,阐释了如何正确理解艰苦奋斗精神的内涵。基于现今大学生现存特点及其历史责任,以历史事实为依据,概括了艰苦奋斗精神对事业成功的内在保证作用,阐释对大学生强化艰苦奋斗精神教育的迫切性,及其“内修”与“外培”两方面途径的关联。

This essay, on the basis of analyzing different sorts of misunderstanding on hard-working and plain-living virtue, illustrates how to understand its connotation correctly. By studying college students’ characteristics and their historical responsibilities, the essay concludes that hard working and plain-living virtue plays an extremely important role in college students’ achievement. Finally, it lays stress on the necessity to strengthen the education of virtue among them, and presents the relationship between “internal self-cultivation” and “external training”.
