Influences of China s entry into WTO on the Chinese securities business

中国已于 2 0 0 1年 11月正式加入世贸组织。入世之后 ,中国经济的方方面面都将会因面临于新的环境而倍受冲击。作为中国金融领域三大支柱之一的证券业更是不可避免。但是我们应该看到入世对于中国是机遇与挑战并存。

China s entry into WTO in November, 2001 is bound to have great influences on all the fields of China s economy, especially on the securities business one of the three backbones in China s financial industry. However, we have to see the fact that the entryinto WTO is an opportunity as well as a challenge for China. The present article gives an analysis to the opportunities and the challengesfor the Chinese people after China s entry into WTO. Meanwhile, two measures to be taken in China s securities business are discussed in the paper.
