针对我国铁路运输急需速度等级为160 km/h客运电力机车的现状,HXD3D型机车采用了车体轻量化设计以减少运行阻力,降低牵引功率,提高速度,降低轴重,从而减少列车运行时沿线路基振动,降低了轮轨之间噪声,改善了列车的运行品质。

For the current situation that 160 km / h passenger electric locomotives are needed urgently in China railway transportation, the lightweight body design of a body for HXD3 D locomotive is introduced to reduce running resistance, traction power and axle load and to increase speed, thereby the vibration of roadbed is reduced while the train is running along the track, the noise between wheel and rail is reduced, and the quality of train running is improved.
