Research of Network Bandwidth in Distance Learning System

远程教育过程中的网络带宽问题是最需要解决的一个问题,本文提出采用服务器集群技术、自适应带宽流媒 体课件、Web服务器HTTP流压缩传输、服务器端zip文件自解压以及实现NNTP新闻组和Web讨论区数据同步等 方法来解决这个问题.主要采用了NAT、LVS技术,以及Java、JSP的编程实现.

Network bandwidth is the most important problem to solve in Distance Learning System. This article discusses several technologies to solve this problem , such as Server Cluster technology, stream media of Self-adaptive Bandwidth .HTTP stream compressing under Web server, self-decompressing of zip files and the synchronization of NNTP Newsgroup and Web-based BBS. And it provides some implementations using the technologies of NAT and LVS, as well as the programming languages of JAVA and JSP.
