明代临淮郭氏家族若干史实辨正

The Clarification of Several Historical Facts of the Linhuai Guo Family in the Ming Dynasty

明代临淮武定侯郭氏与徐氏、沐氏并称明朝三家铁帽公侯之族,是学界研究的重要对象。但是由于郭氏家族卷入胡蓝之狱、靖难之役两次政治大事变,以及家族内部发生长期的袭爵之争,加上武定侯郭勋瘐死狱中等复杂情形,~①史籍关于郭氏家族史实的记载语多不详,真伪并存。本文就临淮郭氏家族中的巩昌侯郭兴、武定侯郭英子嗣名,郭玹袭爵,武定侯郭勋生卒年岁、加太保等基本问题,进行考证辨析,以廓清历史事实。

The Guo clan,which was entitled Marquis Wuding in Linhuai,has always been an important object of academic research,especially Guo Xun who inherited the title of Marquis Wuding.However,due to the involvement of the Guo family in Hu Lan’s imprisonment and Jingnan’s Battle,the long-term fight for nobility within the Guo family,and the complicated situation after Guo Xun’s death,historical records about the Guo family contain both truths and mistakes.This paper makes textual research on the basic problems,such as the names of the descendants of Guo Xing and Guo Ying who were the Marquis Gongchang and the Marquis Wuding respectively,Guo Xuan’s succession of the Marquis title,and Guo Xun’s birth,death age and official position,in order to clarify some historical facts.
