On Jiang Zemin's Great Contributions to the Theory of Socialist Cultural Construction

江泽民站在时代制高点上 ,继承和发展了邓小平的文化建设思想 ,对社会主义文化建设理论作出了重要的贡献 :( 1 )结合时代特点从全球视野中认识文化建设的重要意义 ;( 2 )从巩固意识形态文化主导地位角度明确文化建设的指导思想、指导方针及根本任务 ;( 3 )从永葆党的先进性的高度把文化建设与党的建设统一起来倡导文化建党。

Following and developing Deng Xiaoping's cultural construction thoughts, Jiang Zemin has made great contributions to the theory of socialist cultural construction. He attaches great importance to cultural construction in the global context; he defines the guiding thoughts, principles and basic tasks of cultural construction from the point of view of strengthening the dominant position of ideological culture; and, to maintain the Party's advanced quality, he advocates the combination of cultural construction and the Party building.
