以德治国就是要用代表中国先进文化的道德治国,这就要求正确认识道德在治国中的地位和作用,大力弘扬中华民族优秀的德治传统,注重人的思想道德素质的提高,进一步在全社会树立建设有中国特色社会主义的共同理想、信念,通过人的全面发展促进社会的全面发展。

This dissertation maintains that 'Manage Nation with moralities' means me should harness our nation with moralities that represents Chinese advanced culture, requiring our correct recognition of the status and role of moralities in management nation, requiring our well displaying of fine ethical tradition of Chinese nationalities, requiring our concentration on the improvement of ideological and ethical quality of our people, to further establish common ideal and belief of building socialism with Chinese characteristics throughout the country and to promote social comprehensive development through the all-round development of our people.
