Discussion on Gate of Life:Original Domination of Preventing From Evils

从中医学中左右的含义 ,以及水火对生命的意义 ,探讨“左肾右命门”说的根源。认为历代医家对命门生理功能的阐发 ,实质上是对肾脏功能的进一步发挥 ,《难经》称命门为守邪之神 ,是对肾保护机体 。

From the contents of TCM left right,the significance of TCM water fire on life,the original of theory of left kidney and right gate of life(Mingmen)was studied.It is considered that the explaining of doctors in the past dynaties on physiological functions of Mingmen is actually to further explain the renal functions.The gate of life is considered as the original domination of preventing from evils in Nanjing,this explains external mechanism of kifney on protecting organism,preventing from evils and preventing diseases.\;
