Consideration on the Principles of Party Construction fromthe Perspective of Advanced Culture

先进文化是推动人类社会前进的内在驱动力。代表先进文化 ,是先进政党的显著标志。新形势下 ,鉴于科学和文化在当今世界的重要地位和突出作用 ,江泽民同志把先进文化作为“三个代表”的重要内容之一 ,把“代表中国先进文化的前进方向”上升到党的建设的本质层次和政治方向 ,这是对马克思主义建党学说的新发展。

Advanced culture is the driving force for the development of human society, and is the outstanding feature of advanced party. Considering the important role of science and culture in the new circumstance, Jiang Zemin includes the advanced culture as an important part in his 'Three Representations', and promote the direction of advanced culture as the nature of party construction and political direction, which is the brand new development about the Marxist construction of party. Communist Party members should be the conscious participants and promoters in the practice of constructing the socialism with Chinese characteristics.
