摘要
本文描述了新亚种微齿低额溞。本新亚种与指名亚种的主要区别在于前者壳纹粗显,使后背缘呈细微的锯齿状;头顶较尖窄,头部腹面较凹,吻较长而稍上翘。第一触角的触毛长在基部。第二触角较短,尚不及体之中部。后腹部末端较宽,然而长有肛刺的一段又比喜马拉雅低额溞为窄,肛背角更为突出,肛刺数目也较多。
The present paper reports a new subspecies Simocephalus himalayensis microdus ssp. nov. collected from Heilongjiang Province, China. The type specimens are deposited in the Department of Biology, Harbin Normal University.This new subspecies resembles the subspecies nominotypica, but may be readily distinguish from the latter by: (1) Valves with strongly transverse lines and forming fine serration on the dorsal posterior margin. (2) Head narrow with more concave ventral margin. (3) Rostrum long, projected and slightly curved anterioly. (4) Antennule with a sensory seta in basal part of anterior margin. (5) Antennae short and not reaching the middle of the body. (6) Postabdomen wider in distal part, but narrower than S. himalayensis himalayensis on the anal denticles part, preanal corner more projecting and anal denticles numerous.
